Workshop #2 : “The Social Unsustainability of AI”

29 September 2025

About this Workshop

This second workshop probes the social unsustainability of AI by foregrounding feminist African value systems, public-interest evaluation, and the hidden labour regimes that underpin contemporary AI infrastructures. Bringing together critical voices from Ghana, Germany, and the global AI justice movement, it illuminates how power, inequality, and coloniality shape the conditions for genuinely sustainable technological futures.
